My favourite toy

My favourite toy is a teddy bear because I have had it ever since I was born. My great grandmother was the person who gave it to me.

My teddy bear has a heart with a sign that says ‘I Love You’ on it.
My bear is a brownish colour and it is quite large.

My favourite toy makes me feel happy because I have had it for over 12 years. It  reminds me of my first birthday because  I had a teddy bear birthday cake.

The best memories I have of my favourite toy are when I was really young. I used to cuddle it and sleep with it. That is what my favourite toy contains: love, passion and joy.

The Mysterious Mist

Looking up Milly, Molly, Mum and Dad were traumatised at the weather. “Really a wet day huh” Mum asked. “Yep” said Dad. All you can see was black clouds lurking and hovering over your heads. Luckily they were prepared for this uncooperative weather.

Walking onto the narrow path towards the bush Molly was echoing and all the birds flew as though there was a big fat animal scary enough to scare such creatures.

Out of the blue a mist had came and approached the four people as they were enjoying their walk. The mist came faster and faster until it had taken Molly away.

“Oh no” Mum and Dad noticed as soon as they turned around to see if anyone was following them.  “One of the kids are missing” they said sadly. “AAAHHH!” Milly screamed as she was also taken away. “How is this happening” they screamed loudly, but there was no one else there with them that time.

“Wait a minute” he said to his partner. “that mist, it must have taken them away some place” he said positively sure that the mist had something to do with it. “Are you sure?” Mum asked. “Yeah I am sure because the mist was catching up faster and faster and they were the only ones at the back” he replied. “Oh no!” “I hope they are alright” said Mum concerned at what might happen to her 2 year old and 7 year old.

The sun came out and the mist went away. But where were the girls that magically disappeared. Well they were tied up behind a tree. Grateful that they had their little girls back, Mum and Dad untied them and took them to a nice place to eat as they didn’t have any food with them. Everyone was safe and nobody got hurt.  The mist on the other hand was never discovered ever again. For this reason the owner had to shut and convicted the whole park even the bush area. The family of four lived happily ever after.....

An unusual day at Grandma's house

“Isn’t this nice, just me and you having a nice girls talk with no one bothering us” Grandma said as she took a sip of her tea. Mum was also talking about their past and how they used to spend heaps of time together.

While these lovely ladies were relaxing and chatting over a cup of tea, Max stared into a book and started to read loudly.  “Shhh Max” moaned mum “can’t you see we’re busy”. “Sorry” he yelled from the lounge.

While Mum and Grandma were outside, Max quietly read from the lounge where nobody could hear him. So he had the whole space to himself. But not for long........

Later that day an unfortunate event happened. Max’s pet Snappy the Alligator had been let out of his cage. Quietly Snappy creeped outside, while everything was really quiet.

AAAAGGGGHHHH! Mum and Grandma screamed. “What’s happening out there” said Max. “Wait a minute I know that scream” he thought to himself. “Snappy!” he yelled. As soon as he ran towards the patio, Snappy his pet Alligator was on the ground waiting for Mum and Grandma to get off the table so he could have a feast.

Max had to think of a plan. With only a small amount of time left before Snappy jumps on the table, Max thought of an idea. “I know what to do” he said to his scared mum and grandma. “Okay then hurry” they both said trying to stay calm.

Max hurried to the animal’s cage and right next to it was it’s food. “Here it is” he smiled to himself. Running to the alligator he yelled “here Snappy over here boy”. Snappy quickly scurried over to where his food was and munched happily. “Finally” Max said tiredly. That was really exhausting.

Narrative Practice

“Oh no!” Mum, Mark and Cindy laughed sarcastically. Dad was painting the seating area while everyone was sitting on the sofa. “Has he always been this terrible at painting?” asked Cindy. Mark and Cindy laughed at the sight in front of them. Poor Dad was making a fool of himself. “Dad has always been that clumsy” said Mark. “I guess that is why he is not doing a good job” Mum replied as the sight of her husband was unbearable.

A few drops of paint splattered onto Dad’s face. “Oh no!” he whispered to himself, “why did this happen?” As he thought about this question there was a slight smirk on his face. He glanced around the seating area while his family wasn’t looking. “Well at least no one saw what happened” Saying this he looked on the floor next to him. There Fluffy’ the cat, lay next to him with paint all over her.

He was embarrassed and shocked that his mistake got caught on camera. “I guess I’ll remember this forever” He said sadly. Looking back at what had happened. He remembered that the cat ran across bumped the ladder and that is how he got paint splattered onto his face. “You little trouble maker” he laughed as he cleaned up the mess. At least this problem has been solved.
