Auckland City Adventure
Saturday morning, sunshine filled the sky as my family and I were packing up to get ready for a family adventure. This was a great day to have this event.
First we caught a bus all the way to Britomart in Auckland City. We got off at the bus stop as soon as we got to our destination. As soon as we found a place to sit we started to eat because the bus ride was so long we all got hungry. Happiness put smiles on all our faces especially being in this city. Looking all around there were heaps of beautiful sights like fancy artwork , heaps of shops and fancy hotels filled the streets with amazing sights.
On the way to the train station, I misplaced my phone and ended up lost. This made me really upset. Finally we left on the bus and all the guilt had flown over me. This had shown how irresponsible I was that day. My mum said that it was because my bag was left open, but I thought that my bag was closed all this time. I didn’t want to say it out loud just in case it will lead up to an argument.
The next place we went to was Orakei Park. Before we played my step dad brought us ice-cream. Hastily eating my ice cream I quickly ran with my sister as though I had heaps of energy trying to look around for something else to do. As soon as I looked to my left hand side I saw kids playing on the flying fox having a fun time. There were teenagers helping the kids on the flying fox. This was a great idea just in case somebody got hurt.
Three hours later we left and got ready to go home.Tiredness and frustration filled our heads as it was time to leave. We had the most fun on one day. It felt like a weeks worth of holiday jammed in a day, which was really exciting. All the sites we saw and all the amazing times we had. This was a true family adventure. Hopefully we can do it again next holiday.
